What this covers.

Advanced vessel stabilization systems designed to reduce roll, pitch, and unwanted vessel movement, improving stability, comfort, and control on the water.

Stabilization is hull work as much as electronics: the transom hardware, the power, the controller and the display all have to agree. Seakeeper Ride tabs on the transom, a Dometic DG3 gyro below deck, Power-Pole anchors and Optimus 360 joystick steering are all systems we install and integrate.

How a job goes

From your first message to the water.

Tell us the boat

The make, the length and what you want done, with a photo of the helm if you have one. The quote form or the chat on this page gets it to Josh in about a minute.

Josh prices it

Every boat and every helm is different, so he prices the job after he sees the boat or your photos. Nobody quotes you a number blind, and warranty terms come with the quote.

We come to you, or the boat comes to us

Mobile service covers most of Maryland and Delaware. If the job needs the shop, slippage is available at Ferry Point Marina in Trappe, where we are based.

Questions we hear

Before you ask.

Seakeeper Ride or a gyro?
Both are on our list: Seakeeper Ride and the Dometic DG3 Gyro. Which one fits depends on the boat and how you run it, and Josh will tell you straight after he sees it.
Do you install joystick steering?
Yes. The Optimus 360 Joystick, with Dometic Optimus Steering among the brands we install.
Do you need the boat out of the water?
Some of this work does. From Trappe we have direct access to Ferry Point Marina, so slippage and haul-outs are close at hand.

In their words.

I will always use Josh and his crew for my marine electronics needs. They’ve helped me out with repairs, replacement of parts and service for routine system updates for both Garmin and Simrad components.
