What we collect
When you ask for a quote on this website, through the quote form or the chat, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email if you give it, your boat, where it is kept, the work you want done, your message, and any photo you attach.
When you message us from our Google Business Profile on Google Search or Google Maps, we receive your messages and the phone number or name your messaging app shares with us.
Like most websites, this site counts visits with Google Analytics, which uses cookies to see which pages are read and how people found us. It does not tell us who you are.
How we use it
- To answer your question, price your job and schedule the work.
- To call, text or email you back about the request you sent.
- To keep a record of the work we do on your boat.
- To see which pages of this website people use, so we can make it better.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send you marketing texts you did not ask for.
Who handles it for us
A quote request goes to the shop by email and by text alert, and a backup copy is kept on the server that runs this website, so no request gets lost. Our website is built and hosted by Easton Automations, which handles that server for us.
Messages sent from Google Search or Google Maps may first be answered by an automated assistant that Google provides to our business. It answers common questions and takes appointment requests, and it passes anything it cannot answer to us. Google handles those messages under its own privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy.
We only share your information with the services above, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and messages for as long as we need them to do the work and keep our job records, then we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we have about you, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Call or email the shop and we will take care of it.
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
